Day 5 Monto to Rolleston

314 km from Monto to Rolleston via Biloela, Moura and Buhinia.  Again the country was green and travel was very pleasant, although it was 31 degrees when we arrived in Rolleston.  The roads have been reasonably good although from time to time there are bad patches that shake us to the very soul.  The worst that happens is we have to straighten up some hanging clothes upon arrival.  We passed through "coal country" today with the Dawson Mine most obvious.  In the distance you can see the mountains of overburden rising from the countryside.  In some areas they have reclaimed the "mountains" and now that the trees and grass have grown, they look like an ordinary part of the landscape.
