Day 163 - Albany Anzac Memorial, more to the west and east to Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve

After a very cold night (6 degrees) we headed off to West Cape Howe National Park and on the way we visited the Anzac Memorial on Mount Clarence.  This was a superb memorial.  To add to the ambiance, there were some fantastic views out over King George Sound and Albany.

We did not make it quite as far west along the coast as West Cape Howe National Park but did see Mutton Bird and Shelter Islands on the way and finished up at Cosy Corner.

Next we turned our attention to the coast east of Albany.  We had heard of a beach at Two Peoples Bay called Little Beach.  It is reputedly the prettiest beach in Australia.  We could only agree.  It was difficult to walk away from the beach.

From there we made our way back to Albany calling in at several attractions on the way.  As for yesterday, we will let the photographs do the talking.

It was great, having covered so much distance across Australia, to at last come across a shingleback lizard in the wild.

Trivia for the day.  Today we saw a three trailered road train with the name "Paperweight" emblazoned above its radiator.
