Day 58 Darwin

Sorry about the parlous state of the blog today. It is car service day and Toyota asked that we leave the car with them until tomorrow as there are a couple of extra things to do for which they are awaiting parts.  Now that we have seen the sights of Darwin, we can say "There is only one thing worse that being caught up in Darwin and that is being caught up in Darwin without a car ".  That is a bit unkind as Darwin is quite an attractive and well maintained city and we have enjoyed our time here.

We have put our enforced spare time to good use however.  The inside and outside of the van are now shining like new.  Fortunately, water is not a problem in Darwin and the park management encourages you to wash your equipment on the site and in so doing, water the grass.

Hot again today and the air conditioner is on, however there has been a cooling breeze.  Well there was one this morning.  It has dissipated somewhat this afternoon.
