Day 88 - Around Broome

Today we simply drove around the shores of the Broome Peninsula, which has the Indian Ocean on one side and Roebuck Bay on the other.  Cable Beach was our first port of call and it was busy.  Then we drove around to Gantheaume Point and Bay, where we viewed the sunset last night.  It looked OK in the daylight and it too, was very busy, mostly boating activities.  The Port of Broome was next on our list and we were fortunate to see the Sea Princess docked at the wharf.  Town Beach came next and it was at the start of Roebuck Bay and there were no sea swells coming into shore there.  Mind you, they weren't very big at Cable Beach either.  We gave the gnome a run at Home Beach and he mixed it with the locals.  An hours shopping saw us home at the caravan park.  Broome is a very spread out town and it mostly comprises holiday facilities and resort type accommodation.  Though the weather is beautiful, the sea a gorgeous aqua colour and the sand whitish, we will still be moving on tomorrow.
