Day 87 - Sunset at Broome

A recovery day today after our trip to the Horizontal Falls yesterday.  We met up with a couple of co-travellers, mutual victims of contacts at several places previously, and had cocktails down at Gantheaume Bay, while we watched the sun set over the Indian Ocean.  It was so busy with the tourists all doing the same thing and the locals bringing in their boats after a days fishing.  We saw some weird craft.  One had its own wheels (3) attached and drove itself up the beach, straight onto its trailer.  The three wheels were raised automatically and away they went. There were two of these. One was piloted by a young girl who parked it on the beach and joined some friends nearby who were cooking dinner on the beach.  This was a very pleasant interlude, albeit a little chilly.
