Day 35 Sunrise at Uluru

As is the practice, we dutifully rolled out of bed early and were at the Uluru Park entrance at 6am on our way to see the Uluru sunrise, again with about 200 others.  It was a cool12 deg and there was a lazy wind to boot.  As we did last night, we progressively photographed the rock and the photographs below are a selection to demonstrate the changes in colour.  There was a little cloud on the eastern horizon which somewhat dampened the effects.  Also we seemed to be SW of the rock and this  had an effect too.  The results did not seem to be as dramatic as were the sunset changes last night. In the distance we could see the sun rising over the Olgas and this looked far more inviting, sufficient to encourage us to try for the Olgas tomorrow.

Happy Mother's Day to all our Mums.
